THINK SPRING!
Remember way back when, in the fall, planting all those Daffodil, Hyacinth, and Tulip bulbs? It seems like ages ago, digging the holes and carefully placing the bulbs correctly in (tops up), and hoping the squirrels don't find them before it freezes. It was warm and sunny. the grass was still green. trees were just beginning to change colors. Ahh remember?
Well it's time for those tulips and other spring bulbs to start popping their heads up out of the ground, ready for another beautiful spring bouquet! Soon the Forsythia shrubs will be exploding their brilliant yellow blooms. Magnolia and dogwoods will burst open their swollen buds to call back the sun and warm weather.. The curious flowers on the redbuds will dance along their  limbs, signaling it is SPRING!
We here at Malone's Garden believe that due to the excess precipitation and solid hard freezes this winter we will have one of the most beautiful and long lasting spring blooming seasons on record! (thats our story and were sticking to it!)
So keep smiling folks, and keep your eyes peeled to spot the little tips of bulbs poking their heads up. It won't be long before we are sweating and miserable while trying to mow the lawn!
